Smyrna man charged with raping teen

A Smyrna man, Anim Hamilton Sorzano, has been arrested after a 15-year-old girl accused him of rape and forcing her to have sex against her will.

According to an arrest warrant by the Cobb County Police Department, Sorzano, 20, is accused of transporting and forcing the juvenile to have sex on May 17 at the Extended Stay America off Spring Road in Smyrna. 

According to jail records, Sorzano is charged with rape and enticing a child. He was arrested on July 20 at 8:14 p.m. and booked into the Cobb County Adult Detention Center. Sorzano is being held with no bond.
