‘Share the Care’ program for Seniors launched

Thanks to a grant from the Atlanta Regional Commission, a new financial assistance program for Cobb County residents aged 60 or older is being launched by Cobb Senior Services. The Share the Care program can aid seniors with prescriptions, medical supplies, hearing, dental and vision services for eligible residents living with Alzheimer’s or other dementia, ALS, Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease, traumatic brain injury, or other neurological conditions.

The Share the Care program will provide limited financial assistance with vouchers up to $2,000 based on requested services and participants must use pre-approved vendors. Assistance is based on available funding. All applicants must be screened by CSS care managers to determine eligibility.
