Rescuing Hope 6th Annual Gala

Rescuing Hope Inc., a non-profit organization dedicated to eradicating sex trafficking, will host its 6th Annual Gala on Aug. 26, 2023, at 6:00 p.m. at the Cobb Galleria Centre. 

This year’s theme is “An Evening of Hope” and will be hosted by WSB-TV’s Michele Newell. Festivities will include a reception, live and silent auction, wine raffle, and dinner.

The mission of Rescuing Hope is to enlighten the public about sex trafficking in America, educate potential victims and first responders, and empower advocates and survivors.
Susan Norris, the founder of Rescuing Hope Inc., began the organization after writing Rescuing Hope, a fictional narrative based on sex trafficking in America.

Said Norris, “I wrote the book thinking that would be my part of the fight and then survivors that I interviewed for the book started calling me asking for direction and support. That was when I realized I had to do more.”

In 2022, the live and silent auctions raised more than $100,000. Participants and supporters can donate a tax-deductible item for the auction that will help continue the fight against sex trafficking.

All auction item donors will be recognized at the event and the merchandise provided will be displayed professionally for the evening. All proceeds from this event will bring vital funds and support to Rescuing Hope programs and services.
