Mableton Man Accused of Burglary and Vicious Rape of 74-Year-Old Woman

A Mableton man, Ahmad Laureik Rucker, has been arrested after being accused of breaking into the home of a 74-year-old woman in Mableton on December 13 and sexually assaulting her.
According to his arrest warrant from the Cobb County Police Department, Rucker allegedly struck the victim in the face multiple times, causing bruising to both eyes, a broken nose, bruising to her lips, and bleeding in her mouth. As he forcibly removed her clothes, he also broke the victim’s left shoulder.
The gruesome assault was witnessed by the woman’s 5-year-old granddaughter. According to the police report, the elderly victim was taken to the hospital by ambulance due to her injuries. She told police she did not know Rucker and that he’d entered the house “randomly.”
Rucker faces charges of first-degree burglary, four counts of battery (visible harm), aggravated battery on a person aged 65 or older, exploitation of a disabled or elderly person, false imprisonment, and second-degree cruelty to children.
He was arrested on December 13 at 9:57 p.m. and booked into the Cobb County Adult Detention Center.
Rucker remains in custody without bond.
