Douglasville man accused of shoplifting over $4K in Apple products from Target

A Douglasville man is accused of assisting a man in stealing Apple products from a Target store in Cobb County.
Omari Fonteno, 20, allegedly helped the unknown man steal Apple products, valued at just over $4,100, between Nov. 21 and Dec. 8 at the Target at 2201 Cobb Parkway South in Marietta.
According to an arrest warrant by the Marietta Police Department, during the checkout process cameras caught Fonteno assisting the unknown individual in placing items in lower-value boxes or placing items into a Target bag without scanning them.
Fonteno was arrested and charged with theft by shoplifting items greater than $500. According to jail records, he was booked into the Cobb County Adult Detention Center and later released on a $3,000 bond.
