18-year old facing charges of damages to a vehicle at South Cobb High School

An 18-year-old Austell man, Jhalel Jeremiah Hagans, is accused of ripping off a car bumper at South Cobb High School.
Hagans was seen on school security cameras walking into the front parking lot of South Cobb High School, located at 1920 Clay Road in Austell, and ripping off the front bumper to a 2015 Toyota Camry. According to an arrest warrant from the Cobb County Police Department, this crime occurred following a verbal confrontation on Dec. 11 at 10:26 a.m.
Police charged Hagans with criminal damage – second-degree. He was booked into the Cobb County Adult Detention Center and later released on a $3,000 bond.
