Austell man accused of child molestation

An Austell man, James Phillip Satterfield, has been charged with child molestation. 

According to an Austell Police Department arrest warrant, Satterfield, 58, is accused of committing multiple sex acts with a juvenile female between Jan. 1, 2018, and May 23, 2023, at a home in Austell.

Satterfield is charged with two counts of aggravated child molestation; and three counts of child molestation felony.

Satterfield was arrested on Aug. 9 and booked into the Cobb County Adult Detention Center, according to jail records. He remains in custody without bond.
