A Disturbing Alliance: Smyrna Leadership and the Gun Industry

On Saturday, August 26th, a Florida gunman murdered three Black people at a Dollar Store in Jacksonville. The shooter, using an AR-15 covered in swastikas, committed a hate crime by intentionally targeting Black people, according to authorities. The gunman was also carrying a Glock handgun during his rampage. That handgun could have been made here in Smyrna.

A disturbing alliance exists between the City of Smyrna’s leadership and the gun industry.
