After a nationwide search, Renee Kutner has been named president and CEO of the Jewish Federation of Greater Atlanta, marking a historic moment as the first woman to lead the organization in over 100 years. An Atlanta native, Kutner was selected from over 70 applicants for the role.

Kutner joined the Federation in 2015 as vice president of marketing and later became COO, focusing on strategic direction, leadership development, community planning, and internal operations. Her promotion from within highlights her deep connections within the Jewish community. Dov Wilker, regional director of the American Jewish Committee, praised her leadership, noting her strong relationships across the Jewish denominational spectrum.

Kutner holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan and an MBA from the University of California, Los Angeles.

The Jewish Federation of Greater Atlanta, known as the “philanthropic heart and soul” of the Jewish community, generated over $23 million in philanthropy in 2023, supporting initiatives in Greater Atlanta, Israel, and globally.
