A Marietta woman, Laura Imbach, was arrested and charged with second-degree burglary.

According to an arrest warrant, Imbach, 44, is accused of loitering and prowling at Pike Nurseries, located at 2900 Johnson Ferry Road in east Cobb on Aug. 7. Imbach is accused of breaking into and stealing items from Pike Nurseries.

During the course of the investigation, security camera footage from the business was reviewed. A security guard also identified Imbach as resembling the person who had committed burglaries earlier in the month.

Subsequently, on August 8th, an officer executed a search warrant on Imbach’s vehicle and discovered stolen solar lamps from Pike Nursery, as outlined in the warrant.

Continued investigations led the officer to statements made by a fraud victim, which unveiled a connection between Imbach and multiple pots and plants. The victim indicated that Imbach had admitted to cutting the property fence of Pike Nursery, entering the premises, and stealing multiple pots and plants on multiple occasions, according to the warrant.

As a result of this information, another search warrant was executed at Imbach’s residence, where approximately 30 pots and plants were found. These items bore labels and barcodes that were identified as belonging to Pike Nursery, according to the warrant.

Imbach was arrested on Aug. 10 and booked into the Cobb County Adult Detention Center.

According to jail records, Imbach was released on $15,000 bond.
