Marietta Woman Accused of Stabbing a Man

A Marietta woman, Brandi Capri Bates, is accused of stabbing a man, using a kitchen knife to cut the victim’s head and arm, and stabbing him in the lower left side of his back.
Bates, 31, is accused of the stabbing assault on Feb. 22 in an apartment unit at Cortland East Cobb, located at 2085 Roswell Road in Marietta.
According to a warrant from the Cobb County Police Department, Bates was charged with aggravated assault. She was arrested on Feb. 23 at 12:09 a.m. and booked into the Cobb County Adult Detention Center, according to jail records. Bates remains in custody without bond.
