Marietta man accused of shooting at his baby’s mother and his child

A Marietta man, Adonis Reid, has been charged with aggravated assault after being accused of shooting at his family’s vehicle. 

Cobb County Police say Reid, 23, shot at Tanayja Lacey, his baby’s mother, and his juvenile daughter with a SCCY CPX-1 9mm firearm.  

According to Reid’s arrest warrant, he is charged with two counts of aggravated assault with a weapon, one count of cruelty to children in the third degree, and two counts of reckless conduct, for the shooting that occurred at 2751 Hammondton Road in Marietta. 

According to jail records, Reid was arrested on July 14 at 1 a.m. and booked into the Cobb County Adult Detention Center. He remains in custody with no bond
