Man accused of rape of child in Vinings 

An Atlanta man, Dontaveous Williams, was arrested after by the Cobb County Police Department after being accused of raping a young girl at the SYNC at Vinings apartment complex near the Cobb County Police Precinct 3.

Williams is accused of the sexual assault on the 11-year-old between Nov. 1, 2023 and Jan. 28, 2024.

According to his arrest warrant, Williams was taken into custody on Jan. 31 at 9:50 p.m. and booked into the Cobb County Adult Detention Center. He remains in custody without bond.
