Mableton Inaugural Swearing-In Ceremony Announced

The community is invited to attend the Inaugural Swearing-In Ceremony for the Mayor and City Council of the new city of Mableton. The ceremony will take place on Saturday, May 13, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. in the Auditorium at South Cobb High School. The ceremony is free, and open to the public, but registration for tickets are required.

Tickets are limited to 2 per registration. They can be downloaded to your mobile device and are required for entry to the ceremony.  

Citizens are encourage to attend and meet the new Mayor and City Council members for Mableton. A light reception will immediately follow the ceremony.

To mark this special occasion, guests attending the ceremony are asked to bring a canned good or nonperishable item to the event which will be collected and donated to local food banks in Mableton.
