Brianne Perkins, a 2018 graduate of Pebblebrook High School and a 17-year resident of the Six Flags Drive and Riverside-Mableton communities, will receive her Master’s in Public Administration from the University of Texas at Arlington on December 13, 2024.
Brianne earned her Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Bennett College in 2022, where she served as Senior Class President and became a member of the Sigma Gamma Rho – Nu Nu chapter. She also held the position of Vice President in the Wonder Girls volunteer organization.

Her dedication to community service began at the age of seven when she moved to the area with her mother and brother. She graduated through the Pebblebrook feeder pattern, attending Riverside Intermediate School, Lindley 6th Grade Academy, Lindley Middle School, and finally Pebblebrook High School. While at Pebblebrook, Brianne was deeply involved in extracurricular activities, including serving as Captain of the Mighty Marching Band Flagline during her junior and senior years. She was also a member of the school’s Magnet Performing Arts Program.
In addition to her academic and leadership achievements, Brianne is committed to giving back to her community. She is an active volunteer with STING Inc., Keep Cobb Beautiful, and was honored in 2021 by Cobb Collaborative as a Volunteer of the Year. She also serves as the Volunteer Youth Director for the We Thrive on Riverside Renters Association. Professionally, Brianne works as the Constituent Services Manager for a state representative in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, which includes the Six Flags area.
Brianne’s mother, Monica DeLancy, and her brother, Ernest Perkins, are incredibly proud of her accomplishments. As Brianne prepares for the next chapter in her life, she encourages everyone to stay tuned as she continues to thrive and make a difference in her community. On behalf of the South Cobb community, congratulations on your accomplishment.
