Gwinnett County Sheriff’s Deputy Arrested on Child Molestation, Enticing Charges

Share

Gwinnett County, Ga. — A probationary sheriff’s deputy with the Gwinnett County Sheriff’s Office has been arrested and charged with multiple felonies after allegedly sending nude photos and explicit videos of himself to underage victims.

According to authorities, 21-year-old Rylee Conner Willis of Stone Mountain was taken into custody this week following a report from a parent who discovered inappropriate messages and content on her teenage daughter’s phone. Police say the victims include girls aged 14 and 15. Willis is now facing two counts of child molestation and two counts of enticing a child for indecent purposes, all felony offenses.

Willis was employed by the sheriff’s office in a probationary status, meaning he had not yet completed the department’s required two-year probationary period for new hires. The sheriff’s office confirmed that Willis is no longer employed by the agency, and he was booked into the Gwinnett County Jail without bond pending further proceedings.

The sheriff’s office issued a statement emphasizing that it holds its personnel to “the highest standards of professionalism and accountability,” and is cooperating with investigators as the case unfolds.

The arrest has drawn community concern, particularly because the alleged incidents involve minors and a law enforcement professional entrusted with public safety. Investigators continue to probe the case, and Willis’s charges could lead to significant prison time if convicted.

Authorities have not released details about potential additional victims or whether digital evidence has been seized. The case remains under active investigation. Other vixtims should contact the authorities.
