EARLY VOTING UNDERWAY IN COBB

Share

Early Voting has commenced in Cobb County and throughout the state of Georgia, offering an advantageous opportunity for voters to cast their ballots ahead of Election Day on May 21. Also known as advanced voting, this option enables voters to steer clear of crowds and select a time that best fits their schedules in the weeks leading up to the election.

Early in-person voting commences on the fourth Monday prior to an election, and runs until the Friday before Election Day. Hours typically include weekdays and the second and third Saturdays before Election Day, with some locations potentially open on Sundays. See rhe chart below for dates and times or confirm with your early voting precinct. During Early Voting, you are not bound to a specific polling location. You have the flexibility to vote at any early voting location within Cobb County. Find these locations here or by visiting the Cobb County Elections website. You can also access the Secretary of State’s website or log into your My Voter Page

Before participating in Early Voting, ensure you are registered to vote in Georgia. You can verify your registration status on the Georgia Secretary of State’s website. If you’re not registered, learn how to register before the deadlines, which vary depending on the type of election.

When you head to your early voting location, remember to bring a valid photo ID. Special accommodations are available for voters with disabilities, including audio ballots and wheelchair-accessible booths. If you’re unable to vote in person, you can request an absentee ballot for mail-in voting.

If you have any questions about early voting locations or need assistance, reach out to your county registrar for guidance. Ensure your voice is heard by participating in the voting process, either in person or by absentee ballot.

Please note: There is NO VOTING on May 18-20, 2024
