State Representative Terry Cummings, a passionate and dedicated member of the Georgia House of Representatives, has been honored as the State Elected Official of the Year by Georgia Advancing Communities Together, Inc. (Geiorgia ACT). This prestigious award recognizes Cummings for her exceptional leadership, advocacy for social justice, and steadfast commitment to her Community. Georgia ACT plays a crucial role in advocating for safe, affordable housing and community development throughout the state.
As a statewide membership organization, Georgia ACT represents nonprofit housing and community development organizations, working to ensure that all Georgians have access to quality, affordable housing. Engaging a wide coalition of stakeholders, Georgia ACT promotes a more favorable policy environment for the nonprofit housing sector and raises awareness about key issues related to affordable housing.
Representing District 39, Cummings has made a significant impact since taking office in 2023.
