Delta Community Opens Application Period for 2025 Philanthropic Fund Program

Credit Union to Award $150,000 to 20 Local Nonprofit Organizations

Delta Community Credit Union is pleased to announce that it is now accepting grant applications for its 2025 Philanthropic Fund program. This marks the 12th year of the annual grant program, which aims to provide financial support to organizations aligned with Delta Community’s core values. These include helping families manage their finances effectively, enhancing the physical and financial well-being of young people, and improving educational and career opportunities for teens and adults.

As Georgia’s largest credit union, with assets exceeding $8.5 billion, Delta Community is committed to distributing a total of $150,000 in grants to 20 nonprofit organizations throughout 2025. This initiative underscores Delta Community’s ongoing dedication to supporting community initiatives that make a meaningful impact in these key areas.

The application window closes on Aug. 30, 2024, at 5 p.m. ET. Applications must be submitted via the online portal at www.DeltaCommunityCU.com/PhilanthropicFund.

Since its inception in 2013, Delta Community has demonstrated a strong commitment to community investment through its Philanthropic Fund program. To date, Delta Community has invested nearly $1.2 million in over 220 organizations. These organizations provide crucial support such as educational opportunities, job and career training, as well as medical and human services to families and individuals facing challenges.

Beyond direct grants, Delta Community actively contributes to local communities through various initiatives. This includes scholarships, partnerships with schools, and support for chambers of commerce and civic organizations. These efforts underscore Delta Community’s dedication to fostering growth and well-being in the communities it serves.
