City of Mableton announces plans to hire staff to fuel growth

In the wake of the successful approval of the inaugural spending plan presented by Mayor Michael Owens and sanctioned by the City Council a few weeks ago, the City of Mableton, Georgia’s newest municipality, has announced the initiation of further staff hiring.
Since officially launching operations on June 1, 2023, the city has operated with a limited staff of four members, with only two working full-time. With this announcement, the city is actively seeking dynamic and qualified individuals to fill crucial roles. These positions include City Manager, Community Development Director, Business License Specialist, Human Resources Director, Code Enforcement Officer(s), Finance Director, Building Inspector, IT Director, IT System Administrator, Communications and Community Development Director, and Executive Assistant/Office Manager. Interested candidates are invited to apply for these positions on Indeed.com, where detailed information can be found in the job postings.
The application period will remain open until all positions are filled, with the interview process scheduled to commence on January 8th. Successful candidates are expected to join the City of Mableton team at the beginning of February.
