Atlanta-based Chick-fil-A is contributing $500,000 to Morris Brown College to support the development of a diverse generation of leaders. The funds will enable students to engage in a leadership development program focused on the hospitality and organizational leadership industry.

This donation builds on the fast-food chain’s 2021 partnership, where they initially donated $500,000 and are now matching that amount.

President of Morris Brown College, Dr. Kevin James, expressed enthusiasm for the ongoing collaboration, stating, “My goal is for Morris Brown to become one of the top institutions in the country for Black and Brown people to learn how to own, operate, lead, and manage restaurants and hotels.”

Since the 2021 pledge, Chick-fil-A has initiated a two-year leadership program and assisted in constructing a hotel on the college’s campus.

Emphasizing the company’s commitment, Carol Waddy, Chick-fil-A Director of Community Affairs and Corporate Social Responsibility said, “Our goal is to give students access to opportunities and tools that will help them advance their skills, network, and prepare for success in their college journey, business, and life.”
