THRIVING TOGETHER ATLANTA

Share

As they cleebrate their 10th annual event, Atlanta Neighborhood Development Partnership, Inc., (ANDP) understands that improving health equity is crucial, particularly for marginalized communities who often lack access to healthcare. Health equity ensures that everyone has a fair chance to achieve optimal health, addressing historical injustices and eliminating preventable health disparities.

ANDP, a chartered member of the NeighborWorks America Network, is committed to promoting racial equity and building healthy communities through affordable housing initiatives. Neighbors Together, inspired by NeighborWorks America’s National Community Leadership Institute, empowers residents with training and tools to strengthen their communities.

As part of NeighborWorks Week 2024, ANDP’s Neighbors Together initiative is teaming up with Out of Hand Theater for a special performance from Atlanta’s public art initiative – Thriving Together Atlanta, on Saturday, June 1. Following the performance, attendees will join a thought-provoking conversation about race, health equity and how we can create change for a healthier future for everyone!

NeighborWorks Week, held annually during the first full week of June, highlights the collective impact of the NeighborWorks network in strengthening communities. ANDP is proud to be one of the 250 Chartered Members of the NeighborWorks Network.

The public is invited to join ADNP in its efforts to build a healthier and more equitable future for all! Saturday, June 1, 2024 from 10:00 am – 1:30pm. Lunch will be provided. Register for free at: https://bit.ly/4afLStI

Thriving Together Atlanta, supported by a $1 million Bloomberg Philanthropies Public Art Challenge grant, is a collaborative effort involving the City of Atlanta Mayor’s Office of Cultural Affairs, the CDC Foundation, National Black Arts Festival, and Out of Hand Theater.
