Acworth Man Charged With Child Molestation

An Acworth man, Charles Ramirez Martinez, has been charged with child molestation. Martinez, 64, is accused of engaging in a sex act in front of a 13-year-old at a residence at 4924 Carson Glen Lane in Acworth and providing a “sip” of beer to the victim on two occasions, according to an arrest warrant by the Acworth Police Department.

Martinez is charged with child molestation felony; enticing child; and contributing, furnishing alcoholic beverages to a person under 21. He was arrested on Dec. 19 and booked into the Cobb County Adult Detention Center, according to jail records.

Martinez remains in custody on a $25,000 bond.
