Woman intentionally struck and killed another woman at Cumberland Mall

A Fairburn woman, Vanessa Robinson has been charged with felony murder for the deadly hit-and-run of a woman at Cumberland Mall.
According to an arrest warrant, Robinson,18, was driving her 2016 Nissan Sentra and intentionally struck Paige Jenkins, 25, around 4:50 p.m. outside the mall. As a result, Jenkins was severely injured. She was transported to Wellstar Kennestone Hospital, where she died.
Cobb County Police charged Robinson, 18, with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.and murder in the commission of a felony. Robinson was arrested with the help of the Fairburn Police Department, according to Cobb police who said she was booked into the Cobb County jail. Due to the nature of the incident, Robninson is not eligible for bond at this time.
