The number of people accused in a 2020 homicide recently increased to 6 after police arrested a trio of women. Xaviura Brionna Kind, Madison McNary, and Shquira Monet Wofford were arrested and charged in the homicide at a south Cobb townhome.
The three female suspects, each 22 years old, have been charged with murder, armed robbery, and aggravated assault, jail records show.
They are accused of conspiring with three others, Tyler Tywan Thomas, Kalvon Hinnant, and Tyanna Buford of Marietta, in the robbery and shooting death of 32-year-old Keith Dewitt on Nov. 8, 2020, at the Upland Townhomes Apartment Complex.
Thomas and Hinnant are accused of shooting Dewitt multiple times after Buford led Dewitt to the apartment complex, warrants for their arrest said.
The arrest warrants for Thomas and Hinnant said, “… accused did discharge a firearm multiple times into the body of the victim causing visible and internal injuries which ultimately led to the death of the victim.” According to court records, the cases against Thomas, Hinnant, and Buford are still pending.
Following their arrest, Kind, McNary, and Wofford are being held without bond at the Cobb County Adult Detention Center.
Deputies have not released details on why the three women were arrested in connection to the homicide.
