Share

An 18-year-old girl was shot and robbed in her Kingsley Village apartment in South Cobb Tuesday afternoon, which led to the arrest of two teenage suspects.

Joshua Rashad Cogan and Isaiah Juan Jones were charged with aggravated assault, armed robbery, and possession of a weapon during the commission of a crime. Cogan and Jones are both 18.

While online records show Jones was not given a bond, Cogan was given a $55,220 bond on the aggravated assault and possession charges, but not on the armed robbery charge.

A few hours prior to the arrest of Cogan and Jones, police were called to the 500 block of Riverside Parkway at about 3:10 p.m. regarding a person shot.

Once police arrived on the scene, they discovered the teenage victim who was shot at least three times. She was taken to Grady Memorial Hospital, where she is recovering. Her condition was not released.
