With a greater influx of customers for spring break anticipated, Six Flags Over Georgia announced that it will have extended hours next week.
The park also announced several different events that will take place starting next week and through spring including a new after-hours event, Scream Break, happening nightly, April 1-8.
On April 1-9th, the park will have an Easter egg hunt for Looney Tunes and DC Super Hero characters.
On April 2, 9, and 16, the park will offer Low Sensory Sundays in recognition of World Autism Month. For these dates, the park will create a relaxing and less stimulating environment for the first two hours of its opening.
The annual Brews & Bites Festival is returning to the park later this spring. The festival will take place on April 22 and 23 and on April 29 and 30 and will feature over 75 craft beers and cocktails, food and beverage pairings, and live entertainment.
Earlier in March, multiple fights occurred at the park during its opening weekend. In response, the park released the following statement:
“Unfortunately, several groups of young people decided to engage in inappropriate behavior in more than one area of the park this evening. Their actions disrupted the park experience for our guests and violated our park policies; as a result, those involved were removed from the property. We have absolutely no tolerance for inappropriate behavior. Safety for our guests, and our team members, is our foremost priority. Unruly behavior will not be tolerated.
