Powder Springs man arrested for allegedly raping, strangling woman

A Powder Springs man was arrested Monday night and is accused of raping and strangling a woman at his home.

According to the police warrant, Jason Riley, 43, raped and strangled a woman early Monday morning at his home.

Riley was arrested and booked into the Cobb County jail Monday night. According to jail records, he remains in custody and faces two rape charges and two aggravated assault charges. Riley is ineligible for bond.
