Powder Springs hosting 4th of July Celebration and Fireworks Display

The City of Powder Springs will host its annual 4th of July Celebration on July 4 at 6 p.m. in downtown and within Thurman Springs Park, 4485 Pineview Drive in Powder Springs. 

This year’s event will feature classic and modern cars, live bands, food vendors, arts and crafts vendors, a kids’ area and activities, and a fireworks show.

Attendees will enjoy live music on the Hardy Family Automotive Amphitheater stage from Shaky Jane, a high-energy, Atlanta-based band that covers a wide spectrum of musical styles and genres, and September in the Park, an Earth, Wind & Fire, and Chicago tribute show.

The fireworks show starts at 9:30 p.m. and will launch from Powder Springs Park, giving attendees downtown and many other parts of the city the chance to see them. The event will conclude at 10 p.m.
