‘Martin: The Reunion’ set to air June 16 on BET+

From 1992 to 1997, viewing audiences got to enjoy the talented comedic group on the television show, “Martin,” which featured the Black experience.

Since going off the air, we have been able to enjoy the hilarious reruns in syndication. For those who have wanted more and have been lobbying to get the “Martin” gang back together, the wait is almost over.

Martin Lawrence, Tisha Campbell, Tichina Arnold, and Carl Anthony Payne II are gathering together for a reunion that will highlight iconic moments and celebrity guest stars. Fellow cast member, Thomas Mikal Ford, who played Martin’s friend, Tommy, passed away in 2016. 

Hosted by comedian Affion Crockett, viewers will enjoy Martin, Gina, Pam, and Cole as well as guest appearances from Snoop Dogg, Tommy Davidson, and others.

The reunion will also offer an opportunity for fan questions to be answered while reliving favorite moments.

Says Lawrence, “To be able to sit here thirty years later with this amazing cast that has had such an impact on pop culture is truly a blessing. I am always humbled that the fans still want more of the show and its characters.”
