Marietta teen accused of having knife at school

Courtney Clore, a 17-year-old from Marietta, has been arrested and accused of possessing a knife at Marietta High School.
According to an arrest warrant from the Marietta Police Department, Clore is alleged to have had a pocket knife in her possession on March 14, between 7:50 a.m. and 9:26 a.m. at the Woods Wilkins Campus on Lemon Street, and again between 2:30 p.m. and 5 p.m. at Marietta High School. Additionally, Clore is accused of displaying the knife while confronting a victim at Marietta High School, with witnesses restraining her from initiating a physical altercation. Allegedly, Clore threatened the victim by stating her intention to “shank” them, as reported by a witness.
Clore was apprehended on March 15 at 9:36 a.m. and faces charges on three counts, including carrying weapons within a school safety zone, simple assault causing fear, and making terroristic threats, all classified as misdemeanors. She was booked into the Cobb County Adult Detention Center, according to jail records. As of now, Clore remains in custody with a bond set at $5,000.
