Eugene Louis-Jocques, accused of murder in the tragic death of Beauty Couch, a popular social media influencer, is now in the Cobb County Adult Detention Center after being extradited from Louisiana.

According to his arrest warrant, 21-year-old Louis-Jocques faces charges of murder, aggravated assault, and arson in connection with the demise of Couch. Allegedly, he repeatedly stabbed Couch and set fire to the vehicle she had been driving.

Several days after the grim discovery of Couch’s body, law enforcement officers in St. Tammany Parish, Louisiana, successfully apprehended Louis-Jocques, who had fled the Cobb area.

He has since been extradited back to Cobb County to answer for the murder of the influential social media personality.

Couch’s lifeless body was located by the Austell Police near the fringes of a wooded area close to Joe Jerkins Boulevard and Landers Street on August 23. According to the warrant, Louis-Jocques is suspected of perpetrating the crime sometime between August 22 and 23.

Initially, first responders had been dispatched to the scene in response to a report of a brush fire. Upon arrival, they discovered that a vehicle was engulfed in flames. This vehicle belonged to one of Couch’s parents.

Subsequent inquiries with the family revealed that Couch had been missing since the previous morning, and the burning vehicle was confirmed as her usual mode of transportation. As a prominent Instagram influencer, Couch boasted an impressive following of over 150,000 on the platform and was renowned for her captivating roller skating dance videos.
