Introducing LLC-Mableton: A Grassroots Effort to Empower Mableton Voters

Mableton, GA — Yashica Marshall and Stephanie Hanlon, residents of the City of Mableton, are proud to announce the launch of Logic & Love for the Community (LLC-Mableton), a community-driven organization dedicated to putting the needs of the city first through the power of collective voting.

What We Do:
LLC-Mableton is a grassroots initiative focused on community advocacy and civic engagement. Our mission is to empower voters to work together, pool their influence, and elect leaders who prioritize the needs of the community. By fostering collaboration, encouraging thoughtful discussions, and supporting policies that benefit Mableton as a whole, we aim to strengthen the connection between residents and elected officials.

Why We Exist:
Too often, elected officials—particularly incumbents—focus on personal advancement rather than the needs of the community. Read some of the latest headlines to see the self-aggrandizement (self promotion) that is taken place and members of the community will understand why the need for such an organization as this is so important to a vibrant community.

LLC-Mableton believes voters must take their power back, hold officials accountable, and ensure campaign promises translate into meaningful action. While individual votes matter, the collective impact of organized, informed voters can drive real change. The city also needs a watchdog to make sure that promises made are kept and that elected leaders remain accountable to the people they serve.

LLC-Mableton is not about promoting a specific candidate. Instead, our goal is to have thoughtful discussions about candidates and policies, reach consensus on who best represents the community’s priorities, and support accountability during their term.

Membership:
Membership is open to registered voters residing in Mableton. To maintain open and honest discourse, elected officials are respectfully not allowed to join at this time. In the future, we plan to hold open meetings and forums where elected officials may be invited to hear community feedback.

First Meeting:
Our inaugural meeting took place via Zoom on October 11, 2025. Interested participants are encouraged to RSVP for our next in-person meeting on Monday, October 13 at 6:00 p.m. by sending an email to LLC-Mableton@gmail.com.
