Share

The public is invited to attend the inaugural Sting Inc Youth Scholarship Tournament that will be held on Monday, June 27.

The Tournament will be played at Dogwood Golf Club in Austell, Georgia. “ Dogwood Golf and Country Club offers terrific views and challenging play for golfers at every skill level” – GolfNow.com reviews.

Participation in this golf outing benefits STING Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that was created in South Cobb County for the purpose of providing mentoring and enrichment programs for youth ages 11-18. Our goal is to make a difference in the lives of youth and encourage them to live productive and balanced lives.

The 18-hole golf tournament will include a shotgun start, a putting and chipping contest, and other fundraising contests including the Straightest Drive and Closest to the Pin contests. Fundraising contests include Beat the Pro and Take the Pro-shot. The most fun is the Monster Smash opportunity for the players who want to swing the 60” driver.

There will be team 1st and 2nd place awards.

Participants will receive a gift package, attendance to the Awards Luncheon, and a chance to win prizes at a raffle that will take place during the Awards Luncheon. Golfers and Sponsors can register for the tournament at https://birdease.com/StingIncYouth.

For more registration information concerning golfers and sponsors, contact Dr. Richard Block, Tournament Director, at drgolf.ga@gmail.com or at (770) 314-8229.
