Homeschool Beta Club inducts 21 members

Share

Global Leadership Academy for Homeschoolers recently held its annual National Beta Club induction ceremony and inducted 21 homeschooled students into the club during their annual National Beta Club induction ceremony that was held at the Switzer Library in Marietta. The selection of these students for membership was based on academic standing and character, which is a testament to their dedication and excellence.

The National Beta Club is a significant organization with a mission to promote academic achievement, character, service, and leadership among elementary and secondary school students across the United States. With their induction, they become a part of a network of over 500,000 members who share these values.

It’s also commendable that the GLA has been actively participating in National Beta activities since its charter in 2018. The club’s upcoming involvement in the National Beta Leadership Summit and Georgia Convention demonstrates their commitment to personal growth and development.

The club impacts the Cobb County community through the various service projects they perform including volunteering for the YMCA’s Days of Service, assisting Books for Africa, and contributing to food packages for Haiti with Burnt Hickory Church of Christ in Marietta. Their participation in these activities reflects a strong commitment to community service.
