District 2 Candidate Monica DeLancy endorsed by former South Cobb Representative Alisha Thomas Searcy

Former State Representative Alisha Thomas Searcy has endorsed Candidate Monica DeLancy for Mableton City Council – District 2. Searcy’s announcement came over the weekend. 

The former lawmaker remains loved and well-respected in the community after serving South Cobb and District 39 with distinction from 2003 to 2015. In endorsing Delancy, Searcy said the following:

I am asking you to vote for Monica DeLancy for City Council. I don’t know a leader in our community more dedicated to our children and families. I know Monica, I trust Monica, and we need her voice on the city council. It’s why I am proud to stand with her and I hope you will stand with her too. Vote for Monica DeLancy for City Council on Tuesday, April 18th. Let’s make sure we have a city that we can all be proud of.”

In addition to Searcy, DeLancy was endorsed by Mableton District 1 City Councilman Elect Ron Davis who won his race for city council last month.
