Delta Community Credit Union Now Accepting 2026 Philanthropic Fund Grant Applications

$150,000 in Grants Available to Support Metro Atlanta Nonprofits Focused on Families and Youth
Georgia’s largest credit union, Delta Community Credit Union, is now accepting applications for its 2026 Philanthropic Fund Program, which will award $150,000 in grants to 20 local nonprofit organizations.
The grants are aimed at nonprofits that align with the credit union’s mission to help families better manage household finances and improve the financial and physical well-being of young people.
The application deadline is August 29, 2025, at 5:00 p.m. ET. Nonprofits can apply online: DeltaCommunityCU.com/PhilanthropicFund
Grant Details:
- Individual grant awards of $10,000, $7,500, and $5,000
- 20 organizations to be selected in total
“Community investment and engagement are essential to good corporate citizenship,” said Hank Halter, Delta Community’s CEO. “Although our investments take many forms, our annual philanthropic grants have been fundamental to our approach for 13 years.”

Since its launch in 2013, the Philanthropic Fund Program has awarded approximately $1.3 million to more than 240 nonprofits across metro Atlanta. These funds have supported education, workforce development, medical services, and human services for underserved populations.
Eligible organizations include nonprofits focused on:
- Financial education and literacy
- Youth development and wellness
- Job training and career readiness
- Community-based health and human services
