Consumer Alert – Power Stick Deodorant Recalled Nationwide Over Manufacturing Concerns
Share
More than 67,000 cases of Power Stick roll-on deodorant are being voluntarily recalled across the U.S. due to safety concerns related to manufacturing practices, according to the FDA.
The recall, initiated by A.P. Deauville, affects several varieties of the 1.8 oz antiperspirant/deodorant, including:
- Power Fresh
- Spring Fresh
- Original Nourishing
The FDA cited “deviations in current good manufacturing practices (cGMP)”, meaning the products may not have been produced under proper safety and quality standards. While no specific health issues have been reported yet, the manufacturing flaws could impact product safety or effectiveness.
