Cobb Residents can now request absentee voting ballots for November municipal election races

Cobb County voters have the opportunity to request absentee ballots for the upcoming 2023 Municipal General Election scheduled for November 7, 2023. 

This election will encompass various races in the cities of Acworth, Austell, Kennesaw, Powder Springs, and Smyrna.

The period for accepting applications for the Municipal General Election runs from August 21, 2023, to October 27, 2023. If you intend to vote using an absentee ballot, it is advisable to apply for one within this timeframe.

You can also apply for an absentee ballot on behalf of a relative who is disabled or out of town, but the ballot will be sent directly to the voter. The individual providing assistance should include their signature or mark in Section Ten (10) and Section Eleven (11) of the application.
