Cobb Police seeking help from public to locate teen murder suspect

Cobb County police are actively seeking the public’s help in locating 16-year-old Christopher McMutry, who is suspected to be involved in a deadly shooting that occurred in late July at a Delk Road apartment complex. 

The incident took place at the Stratford Ridge Apartments, located at 2560 Delk Road, at around 3:45 p.m. on July 30th, resulting in the tragic death of the victim, who was under the age of 17.

According to the police description of McMutry, he is described as a Black male, approximately 5 feet 4 inches tall, weighing 115 pounds, with brown eyes, and brown hair featuring short twists. 
He is one of two suspects connected to the case, with the other suspect, Jacob J’Moni La’James Coggins, having been arrested shortly after the shooting.

Coggins is currently facing charges of aggravated assault and murder in relation to the incident, while Christopher McMutry remains at large.
