Sweetwater Mission currently feeds over 800 families a week and they are soon to be a Transformation Center that will equip people with the skills that they need to pursue a permanent career.

A deserving recipient, Debbie was honored for her ability and determination to feed hungry families throughout Cobb, Fulton, and Douglas counties. A tireless job. Debbie recruits donors and contacts manufacturers throughout Georgia to secure food for families in need.

Kristen Bowman, Chief Operating Officer for Wellstar Cobb Hospital said, “Debbie always is welcoming, smiling. Everyone can feel the care she has for the community. Debbie organized meals for all team members at Cobb Hospital, and many first responders during the Covid pandemic.”

“Debbie knows no limits”, said Debbie Vann, director of the Transformation Center of Sweetwater Mission. “Nothing is impossible and she is always available. When asked about making something happen, her answer is always can do.”
