STING, INC needs the community’s help

A youth organization right here in our South Cobb community needs our help. STING, Inc. is asking the community to make a difference in the lives of young people by donating today for an upcoming trip for students as they prepare to travel for College Tour Road Trip 2022.
STING, Inc. stands for “Steering Triumphant Innovators of The Next Generation” and that’s exactly what the organization has been doing since its inception in 2009 as it makes a difference every day in the lives of our young people.
This youth-focused non-profit organization is seeking financial support to underwrite the cost of one of its signature activities. The College Tour Road Trip is an annual event that exposes students to Historical Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs ) and other schools to promote their interest in continuing their educational development beyond high school.
STING, Inc began its College Tour Road trips in 2011 and has traveled annually with students. Once the pandemic hit, the College Road trips were negatively impacted and were forced to cease. Knowing the importance of this event, STING improvised and provided students with a Virtual Option College Tour for Spring Breaks 2020 and 2021.
Now that pandemic restrictions have been lifted, STING, Inc and its students are hitting the road once again as it returns to college road trips. This year’s tour is planned for Saturday, April 2nd through Saturday, April 9th.
For the students, this represents a trip of a lifetime that will have a lifelong impact on their lives.
To help make this trip a reality STING, Inc, needs financial support for students in need of sponsorship from the South Cobb area. We are asking the community to help by donating today.
