- What’s on your ballot?
- How much do you really know about the candidates you will be voting for?
- What about those constitutional amendment questions?
Know before you go to the polls by checking your sample ballot so you know exactly who and what you’re voting for.
You can view your sample ballot by going to the Georgia Secretary of State’s My Voter Page website. Here’s how:
1. Open an internet browser and go to www.mvp.sos.ga.gov
2. Type in the first letter of your first name, your last name, select the county where you live, and input your date of birth.
3. Click LOGIN.
If you get a page saying that your registration cannot be found, go back and ensure that you entered all of your information correctly. If you did and you’re still told that your information can’t be located, then you may not be registered to vote.
Suppose you get to the polls and cannot vote because your eligibility is questioned. In that case, you should be offered a Provisional Ballot to record your vote until your eligibility is verified.
If you have questions about your voting status, contact the County Elections Office to double-check.
