It’s Mother’s Day Y’all

It’s Mother’s Day Y’all, that special day of the year when you get to tell your Mom how much you love and adore her.
Observed in different forms throughout the world, Mother’s Day is a holiday honoring motherhood. The official Mother’s Day holiday in the U.S. rose in the 1900s and has been transformed into one of the major unofficial holidays of the year – the day we honor Mom.
History has shown that on their special day, Mom receives flowers, jewelry, candy, and that ‘interesting’ meal where she has to wait hours with other mothers and their families at a local restaurant to be seated.
In addition to the various gifts bestowed upon her, studies have shown that what Mom really loves on her special day are the loving messages she receives from her children and others she has mothered through the years
Yes, studies suggest that Mom would much prefer to receive genuine words from her loved ones, laced in warmth, and wrapped up in appreciation for all she has done.
If you forgot to make dinner reservations for today or missed out on the last bunch of fresh flowers at your neighborhood grocery, hope is not lost. Mom is just a phone call or text message away and here are some of the ‘loving sentiments’ you can choose from to share with Mom as you tell her how much she is loved.
