Cobb County manager celebrates first anniversary

Congratulations to Dr. Jackie McMorris on her first anniversary as County Manager for Cobb County.

During Black History Month in 2020, McMorris made history in our community as the Board of Commissioners appointed her to the top position and approved her contract as the first female African-American County Manager in a 4 to 1 vote board vote. For those who knew, McMorris was dealing with personal tragedies – but she rose above her personal situations to do the county’s business with excellence.Blog
