Cobb schools announce new system for reserving graduation tickets

Parents and graduate students from Cobb County Schools are encouraged to act early to obtain tickets to graduation.
Cobb County School District announced that it has changed the process for obtaining tickets. Students graduating in May will need to go online and order using the student portal to request graduation tickets.
Tickets need to be ordered by March 24. Students not placing an order by that date will be issued only two tickets.
Kennesaw State University is the site of 15 of the 17 graduations that will take place in Cobb. The school system says the ticketing process changes are a result of KSU requiring each guest to have an individually numbered ticket, with a barcode, to enter the KSU Convocation Center.
The two schools hosting graduation elsewhere in the county are McEachern High School, with graduation occurring at Cantrell Stadium, and Allatoona High School, with their ceremony occurring at Cobb EMC/Buccaneer Stadium. Tickets are required to attend these as well. Each of these schools will administer their own ticket distribution with assistance from the district. Cobb students can request tickets via the student portal.
