City of Smyrna offering COVID-19 vaccinations and booster shots

The City of Smyrna is offering free COVID-19 vaccinations every Friday during the month of October at the Smyrna Community Center located at 200 Village Green Circle in Smyrna. Pfizer booster shots will also be available for those who qualify.

The Pfizer vaccine will be available for everyone ages 12 and up on the specified Friday afternoons, from 1 p.m. until 4 p.m. No appointment is necessary. Please bring an ID – a birth certificate or record of live birth, or passport is acceptable.

Booster Shot Eligibility Requirements: 

Anyone 65 or older.

• Requirement of six months between initial dose and the booster.
• Individuals 18 through 64 years old who are at high risk of developing severe COVID.
• Requirement of six months between initial dose and the booster.
• Example includes: Severely immunocompromised.  Individuals 18 through 64 years of age who are frequently exposed to COVID either through their work or “institutional” exposure.
• Requirement of six months between initial dose and the booster.
• Examples include: Public Safety, Public Health, Teachers, etc.
