Campbell High Senior wins Delta Credit Union Scholarship

Among the five recipients recently named by Delta Community Credit Union for its 2022 Scholarship Program was Arya Telang, a senior at Campbell High School in Smyrna. Telang, who plans to attend the University of Georgia and major in International Affairs and Business, will share in the $25,000 scholarship from the Cobb County-based company. 

The other Cobb County winner is Erik Tekenbroek, a senior at Johnson Ferry Christian Academy in Marietta. Erik plans to attend Baylor University in Waco, Texas to major in Finance. The other winners were Divine Madubike, a freshman at Mercer University in Macon; Prisha Vallamsetti, a senior at Denmark High School in Alpharetta; and Janiyah Williams, a senior at Langston Hughes High School in Atlanta. Each of the five winners will be awarded $5,000.

In addition to its Scholarship Program, Delta Community also offers an annual Philanthropic Fund, more than 160 free financial literacy classes and workshops annually through its award-winning Financial Education Center, and quarterly scholarships for students attending Historically Black Colleges or Universities.
