An Austell man was threatened with a sword by a Douglasville man as he allegedly asked if he was “ready to die”. Police say, Brian Wiley, 39, pulled his vehicle into an Austell’s man’s garage, pulled a sword from his waist, and threatened the man’s life. According to a warrant for his arrest, the homeowner walked into his home in an attempt to lead his family outside. The arrest record says Wiley followed him inside.
According to the Cobb County Sheriff’s Office, Wiley was eventually arrested at the residence at 4:54 p.m. Wiley faces two felony charges for terroristic threats and a felony charge for first-degree burglary. He remains in Cobb’s jail without bond as of last week.
